Little Printer is a new type of portable printer coming in a small and compact design to print news, horoscope, shopping lists, Sudoku, images, agenda, birthday lists and other things you need to check daily. It works while on your desk, through the Android or iPhone application called Remote.

Bejeweled may be one of the most popular games in the world, but that success probably can’t be attributed to «core gamers,” or whatever you want to call the people that eat, sleep, and obsess over video games. A very simple match-three game, Bejeweled epitomizes the online diversion that you play for a few minutes to kill some time. It’s good fun, for sure, but it’s not something you can really sink your teeth into.

EA Sports wants in on the mixed martial arts scene, popularized by UFC. But with THQ holding on to that coveted license, EA went the route of a non-branded fighter — but one with a big roster of popular bruisers such as Randy Couture. Until SEGA gets wise and brings After Burner to the iPhone, Top Gun 2 will sub just fine. Very loosely based on the Reagan Era smash, you pilot a series of jet fighters over enemy territory, unleashing more missiles than were probably used in the entire Pacific theater of World War II. Moving the emphasis to direct engagement, Freeverse throttled back on the dodging stuff that dominated the original iPhone Top Gun. I’m certainly grateful for the decision.

Skype may launch a version of its mobile Voice-over-IP (VoIP) and instant messaging service as early as next week, according to a report from Om Malik of GigaOM. If true, the application could prove popular with cost-conscious iPhone users who’d like to save a few bucks by routing calls over AT&T’s data network. Currently, iPhone users must use third-party services like Fring to access Skype.
